Vice President, USAV
Chris Salazar-Mangrum, MBA, PMP is the vice president of USAV, a division of PSA. In this role, he leads the USAV division to create value between integrators, manufacturers and other Pro AV associations and service providers. Chris’s experience is drawn from leadership positions within a variety of industries including IT, Pro AV, Security, Telecommunications, and Engineering & Construction. He has an Executive MBA from the University of Colorado, a bachelor of arts degree in communications from Regis University, and Project Management Professional certification from Project Management Institute. Chris and his wife, Michelle, are Colorado natives with three children. He enjoys family travel, coaching baseball and softball and cheering for any Colorado-based sports team.
Patrick C. Whipkey is the director of USAV. Whipkey directly impacts the success of USAV by cultivating relationships with integrators, manufacturers, service provider partners and associations within the network, as well as managing programs and collaborating with the management and executive teams on the overall strategic vision of USAV. Whipkey brings with him over 19 years of proAV industry experience serving the commercial and residential sectors. He joined the USAV team following 10 years with IMS Technology Services, a USAV integration group member company, where he held multiple roles, most recently serving as the director of project management.
When he is not working, Patrick enjoys spending time at the Jersey Shore with his family. He has been married to his wife, Meghan, for 8 years and they have 3 daughters: Kayleigh (6), Callahan ‘Callie’(4) and Maura (7 months). Together they enjoy raising their children, the beach, riding their Wave Runner and good ole’ family time.
Katie Blough is a project manager and business analyst with a BS in computer information systems from Metropolitan State University of Denver. Currently seeking her PMP certification, she is attending the University of Colorado project management certification program. Katie began her career working in software support – turned software QA testing engineer – turned project manager.
As a project manager for PSA and USAV, Katie ensures that all projects have clear, defined goals and that they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. As a business analyst, she ensures that PSA and USAV’s business processes are current, documented, and consistently reviewed for possible updates.
When she isn’t working, Katie is wrangling in her two hyperactive boys and enjoying the benefits of living in the beautiful state of Colorado with her husband, DJ.
Channel Marketing Manager
Brittany Board is the channel marketing manager for USAV. She works directly with the USAV Preferred Manufacturer Partners (PMPs) and Preferred Service Providers (PSPs) to communicate their programs and offerings to the USAV integrators in order to increase their exposure. Brittany joined the USAV team after being the marketing coordinator for PSA for over two years. She brings a diverse background of marketing skills to USAV, having worked in the western apparel, rodeo, and tourism industry prior to working at PSA and USAV.
While Brittany graduated from the University of Wyoming with a B.S. in Business Administration, she gained a fair share of her business and marketing experience as she traveled the United States as Miss Rodeo Wyoming 2011. Working closely with sponsors, vendors, strategic partners and associations, she helped build a brand for herself and the rodeo community she represented. Brittany and her husband, Alex, have made their home in Colorado and are excited to add their first baby to their family this fall. She enjoys working horses, leading her church women’s Bible study, hunting large game, camping in the mountains and trips to Wyoming and Wisconsin to visit family.
