2016 USAV NexGen Conference
Overview
The 2016 USAV NexGen Leadership Conference (previously APEX), is about developing leaders for the next generation. Employee development is imperative for tomorrow’s commercial electronics industry. Utilizing concepts introduced in Joseph Pine and James Gilmore’s book The Experience Economy: Work is Theater & Every Business a Stage, participants will join teams and work through a project life cycle from beginning to end. Over the course of the three-day conference, USAV partners and senior leaders from USAV’s Integrator team will facilitate sessions and highlight lessons learned along the way. Conference designers have intentionally structured the conference with serious role-play to create a compelling learning experience.
Who
While all upcoming leaders in USAV Integrator companies will benefit from the conference program, we believe those in sales, technical, and project management roles will find the greatest value.
When
The conference will be Tuesday, September 6 through Thursday, September 8. We picked these dates so, if desired, participants can come a few days early and enjoy Labor Day weekend in beautiful Colorado. Click here to view a more detailed schedule for planning purposes. Where
The conference will take place at The Westin Westminster, just north of Denver, CO. Perched between Denver and Boulder, this topnotch property provides stunning views of the Rocky Mountains allowing for full enjoyment of Colorado’s breathtaking beauty.
Cost
Early Bird: $300 per person registration fee (until June 30, 2016)
Standard: $500 per person registration fee (beginning July 1, 2016)
The only thing required to reserve a spot at the conference is the per person registration fee. USAV and USAV’s 2016 PMP sponsors have graciously covered the remainder of the $1,250 per person conference fee for all NexGen participants! Conference fees cover two nights of lodging, meals, and other conference activities. Please note, airfare and transportation to and from the airport are not included and are the responsibility of the participant.
Please note, in the event something comes up and a participant is no longer able to attend the conference, we will be happy to refund 75% of the registration fee if cancelled by August, and 50% if cancelled by August 15. There will be no refund if canceled after August 15. Substitutions within a company will be accepted until September 1.
Registration
We currently have spots available for each USAV Integration company to send two people to the conference. Let us know if more than two people from your organization are interested in attending, because it is very likely additional spots will open up.
