USAV Honors Founding Partners At 10 Year Annieversary Celebration

Orlando, Fla.—June 15, 2011—USAV, an association of leading professional audio-visual (ProAV) integrators, honored their three founding Preferred Manufacturer Partners (PMPs)—Mitsubishi, Kramer, and Liberty AV Solutions—Tuesday evening during their 10 year anniversary celebration at the House of Blues in Downtown Disney. USAV aligns with leading AV suppliers to provide their dealer members with access to quality AV products at competitive prices.

USAV was founded in 2001 by a small group of visionaries including current CFO, Chris Whitley. In the spring of 2002, the group finalized partnerships with their first three manufacturers and incorporated seven leading integrators into the organization. Now, 10 years later, USAV works with 40 plus integration services companies and 20 AV suppliers, making it the industry’s largest integration services group.

“Relationships we have with our PMPs are very important,” said Whitley. “We take time and carefully select each PMP to ensure both their products and culture are a good match for our organization. Mitsubishi, Kramer, and Liberty have been wonderful partners ever since the beginning. We are happy to have had long lasting relationships with each one of them.”

“It is hard to believe we are already celebrating 10 years in the business,” said USAV CEO K.C. Schwarz. “Part of what has made USAV successful during the last decade is working with high caliber individuals. We really enjoy the opportunity to collaborate with such a great group of PMPs and dealers on a daily basis.” Schwarz was an advisor to USAV when the company was founded in 2001 and became CEO in 2007.

An award presentation took place during the 10 year anniversary party Tuesday evening. Representatives from all three manufacturer organizations were present to accept their respective awards.
