About USAV
USAV is a centrally managed association of professional audio-visual (ProAV) dealers headquartered in Denver, Colorado. Our dealer members represent a select group of integration services companies dedicated to compelling solutions for a wide range of AV projects. Dealers must complete an extensive application and review process and are required to meet stringent qualifications on their way to joining USAV.
We partner with top AV suppliers to provide our members access to premium AV products at competitive prices. USAV Preferred Manufacturer Partners (PMPs) are among the best in the industry. With exceptional products and superior service and support, they are fully equipped to assist integrators in providing the very best hardware and software solutions to clients across the U.S. and Canada.
Additionally, USAV maintains membership in both InfoComm International and National Systems Contractors Association (NSCA). Both trade associations are dedicated to providing their members with services and tools to promote industry excellence. Through tradeshows, conferences, education, certification, and government relations, these organizations form an active extension of the USAV team.
The USAV mission is simple: be the premiere AV integration team helping integration companies leverage purchasing power with our PMPs, and provide high-quality ProAV services and product implementations to clients throughout North America.

History
USAV was founded in 2001 by a small group of visionaries. Their objective was to create a nationwide association that could deliver compelling AV solutions across the U.S. and into Canada. At the beginning of 2002, Preferred Manufacturer Partner (PMP) programs were finalized with three AV suppliers—Mitsubishi, Liberty AV Solutions, and Kramer.
Coupled with the first preferred manufacturer relationship, USAV had an inaugural group of integration services members onboard—seven dealers including current dealers: Presentation Concepts and Tierney Brothers. In the fall of 2002, USAV hosted the first integrators’ meeting for executives of the seven member companies. This set USAV apart from other integration associations in the industry. The meeting agenda focused on business strategy and best practices allowing members to benefit from the experience of their peers.
In 2003, USAV hit its first big milestone with dealers generating over 100 million dollars of gross revenue. By 2006, USAV dealers were serving U.S. metropolitan areas with over 100 million in population. In 2007, a second level of membership was added to USAV, the buying group. This tier was designed especially for smaller integration companies looking specifically for purchasing benefits with USAV PMPs.
Today, the original vision of the founders has become a reality. USAV is the nation’s only full-service integrator association with dealer members working together to develop creative AV solutions for clients nationwide. With nearly two dozen PMPs specializing in a variety of different AV product areas—projectors, monitors, screens, mounts, digital signage, wires, etc.—and over 35 dealer members servicing more than 40 of the top 50 major metropolitan areas in the country, USAV is truly the leader in ProAV integration.
