SMARTSolution Technologies has purchased the Hipwell Manufacturing Company buildings, a former flashlight factory in Pittsburgh’s West Allegheny neighborhood on the city’s North Side. By the end of this year, the company’s 25 employees will move from the 5,500 square-foot space in Pittsburgh’s Knoxville-Mount Oliver Business District they have occupied for the past seven years to 15,000 of the 60,000 square-foot Hipwell Buildings complex.
